Somebody told you to believe Motherhood is a challenge, being a mother is selfless and thankless, motherhood is heavy, motherhood is exhausting… and that somebody was right.

Motherhood is that but it is so much more. Motherhood is empowering, rewarding, a love you can not understand. Motherhood will take you out of your comfort zone and bring you to places you never imagined. Motherhood will change you, transform you into the woman God wanted you to be.

Motherhood is there so we can fix our traumas, and give our kids more life. If you’re a Mother it is no mistake, it is not a game. Motherhood is supposed to push you to your limit and break your understanding. Motherhood is grief of who you thought you were because that is not you anymore. You are the embodiment of elegance, creation, God’s connection.

The quality of your Motherhood is on you. Stop rushing but don’t waste time. Prepare yourself so you don’t feel heavy, take the extra steps so you can feel safe in your Motherhood. Motherhood is unpredictable, Motherhood is the longest transformation you will ever experience because every day is different. Motherhood will always test you, and that’s the point.
